Mark E. Mitchell, President

Mark is the eldest son of H. Reid Mitchell, owner/operator of Mitchell Chevrolet, Inc. in Marlinton, WV. Mark’s love of construction began when he labored for the roofing crew that roofed his parents’ home while Mark was in high school, and later roofed several neighbors’ homes after learning the roofing trade. Mark is a graduate of West Virginia University with a B.S. in Business Administration. He funded his senior year of college by roofing six homes for the National Radio Observatory in Arborvale, WV in partnership with his high school Industrial Arts teacher.

Mark founded Consumer Construction in Prince William County, VA in 1985 after completing his four-year R.O.T.C. commitment as an Army Armor officer. He currently enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, and takes great pride in overseeing the continued development and maturity of Consumer Construction as an exemplary complete exterior renovation company.

Robert E. Hagen, Jr., Vice President

Upon graduating from St. Anselm’s College in 1973 with a BA in Sociology, Robert entered the roofing industry in Northern Virginia at Virginia Roofing. He then went on to a successful career at Bean and Mallow in 1979, and became co-owner of Consumer Construction in April of 1990.

With over 25 years of experience, Robert oversees much of the companies day to day operations including scheduling, production, and accounting.

Miguel Mendoza and his Team, Residential Roofing

Miguel and his team are our lead residential roofing replacement specialists, having completed hundreds of roof replacements in the course of their 10 years with Consumer Construction. Every crewmember is Certainteed Master Shingle Applicator Certified, and they are trained weekly on proper safety techniques. They are regularly commended by our customers for their professionalism, promptness, and extreme attention to detail.

Victor Calvillo, Service Technician

Victor is a Certainteed Master Shingle Applicator Wizard. This rare and prestigious certification is awarded by passing the CertainTeed Master Shingle Applicator® test and the very challenging Wizard test on the first try. The Wizard test is optional. It is therefore only attempted by a small group of dedicated individuals. Victor is also a manufacturer certified installer of Duradek vinyl decking, and Leafproof gutter protection. With over 8 years of experience at Consumer Construction, Victor has extensive knowledge of every kind of roofing system, and is continually commended by our customers for being courteous and professional. Victor is a talented soccer player, and proud father of two.

This father and son team has been with our company for over 10 years, and their experience and technical expertise show. They are experts at identifying and repairing any and all roofing issues. In addition to being Certainteed Master Shingle Applicator certified, they are certified installers of Duradek as well.
