Mark E. Mitchell, President

Mark is the eldest son of H. Reid Mitchell, owner/operator of Mitchell Chevrolet, Inc. in Marlinton, WV. Mark's love of construction began when he labored for the roofing crew that roofed his parents' home while Mark was in high school, and later roofed several neighbors' homes after learning the roofing trade. Mark is a graduate of West Virginia University with a B.S. in Business Administration. He funded his senior year of college by roofing six homes for the National Radio Observatory in Arborvale, WV in partnership with his high school Industrial Arts teacher.

Mark founded Consumer Construction in Prince William County, VA in 1985 after completing his four-year R.O.T.C. commitment as an Army Armor officer. He currently enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, and takes great pride in overseeing the continued development and maturity of Consumer Construction as an exemplary complete exterior renovation company.

Robert E. Hagen, Jr., Vice President

Upon graduating from St. Anselm's College in 1973 with a BA in Sociology, Robert entered the roofing industry in Northern Virginia at Virginia Roofing. He then went on to a successful career at Bean and Mallow in 1979, and became co-owner of Consumer Construction in April of 1990. With over 25 years of experience, Robert oversees much of the companies day to day operations including scheduling, production, and accounting. Robert is an avid and talented golfer, having won the 2008 City of Fredericksburg Amateur Championship.

Susan Stone, Office Manager

Ask anyone who has dealt with Susan and they will tell you that her warmth, affability, and genuine concern are unrivaled. As the Office Manager, she is friendly, focused, and most importantly…persistent. A graduate of North Stafford High School, Susan attended California University of Pennsylvania studying Meteorology. Outside of work, Susan enjoys spending time with her daughter and fishing.

Tony Eckel, Field Supervisor/Sales

Tony has worked in the construction industry for over 26 years and has experience in all aspects of construction and remodeling. He began working in construction in 1982 as a laborer, and quickly moved to a carpenter’s helper were he learned the in and outs of carpentry. He went on to work with various construction and remodeling contractors throughout Maryland, providing his skill and expertise in the area of project manager/ field supervisor. Tony’s knowledge and expertise make him a great addition to Consumer Construction.

Jody Perusse, Assistant Commercial Estimator

Jody has more than eight years experience in the construction industry, working as an estimator/sales coordinator for a major construction supplier. As an Assistant Commercial Estimator, she is responsible for preparing and managing our commercial bids.

Manuel and Victor Ortiz, Service Technicians

This father and son team has been with our company for over ____ years, and their experience and technical expertise show. They are experts at identifying and repairing any and all roofing issues.
